1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using guptatechnologies.in, our services, or our products (HisabKitab, Authenticator, MdReader), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Gupta Technologies provides web application modernization and data engineering services on a quote-based, project-by-project basis. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are defined in individual statements of work or proposals agreed with each client. These terms govern the general relationship; individual contracts may override specific clauses.

3. Products

We offer the following products:

• HisabKitab: a subscription-based GST accounting and ERP platform. Subscription terms, pricing, and feature availability are described on the product page and pricing page. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
• Authenticator: a free TOTP 2FA app for Android, distributed as an APK. Provided “as is” without warranty.
• MdReader: a free Markdown reader and editor for Android, distributed as an APK. Provided “as is” without warranty.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, code, and design — is the property of Gupta Technologies unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Product names and trademarks are owned by their respective holders.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, data, or other users’ accounts.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our website or products.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our site without permission.
• Use our products to process data in violation of applicable Indian law, including tax and accounting regulations.

6. Payment and billing

HisabKitab subscription fees are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

7. Disclaimers

Our services and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our products will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. HisabKitab is a tool to assist with accounting and GST compliance; you are responsible for the accuracy of your financial data and filings.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gupta Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of our website, services, or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our business evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
